As mentioned earlier, collections strategies are groups of collection rules that prioritize what open items are displayed in a worklist. In order to indicate which rules are more important, each rule is assigned a valuation and weighted against other rules.

 

In this example, the first rule Total of all items overdue since 3 days is assigned a valuation of 60 – which means it is higher priority than the last rule No successful customer contact in last 10 days. Notice that the overall strategy has a valuation of 120.
