Click the Choose Layout button on the toolbar. The Choose Layout dialog box displays. Notice the Layout Setting dropdown list is set to All. If you want to only see Global or User-specific layouts, select these items from the dropdown menu. |

Click the Choose Layout button on the toolbar & select Change Layout... from the drop down menu. the Change Layout dialog box is displayed. |

To remove a column from the current layout, select the appropriate field in Displayed Columns and click the button to move it to Column Set. |

To add a column to the current layout, select the appropriate field in Column Set and click the button to move it to Displayed Columns. |

To sum the column total, click the checkbox in Displayed Columns. A column total will appear in yellow in the bottom row of the display. |

To rearrange the order of the columns in the display, select the appropriate field in the Displayed Columns list and click one of the buttons. Moving a field up on the Displayed Columns list will move it left in the actual display. Moving a field down on the Displayed Columns list will move it right in the actual display. The double arrows will move it to the top or bottom (full left or full right) of the list. |

When all changes to the display are complete, click the green checkmark to apply the layout. If you want to save the layout for future use, click the Save button and name the layout. |

In the Column Set, select the columns upon which you want to sort and use the button to move them into the Sort Criteria column. |

Once a field appears in the Sort Criteria column, select Sort Ascending or Sort Descending radio buttons to indicate how you want the data displayed. Place a checkmark in the Subtotals column if you want the column to display subtotals and totals. |

To determine the sort grouping, experiment with moving the field up & down the sort criteria list, then view the layout to see the results. The placement on the list determines the priority in which the sort/grouping is performed. Simply changing the order of the fields in the column will display different results. |

Select the appropriate field name(s) from the Column Set and click the button to move it into the Filter Criteria column. |

Click the Filter button at the bottom of the dialog box to move to the second step in creating the filter. |

Each field selected in the first step will display as a row in the Filter Criteria dialog box. Select the appropriate criteria for each row in the dialog box. |

Click the green checkmark to apply the filter. The display will now show only items matching the criteria selected. |
Notes |
When filters are applied, columns containing filter criteria display a black triangle in the columns header. You can also set a filter or delete (remove) a filter by using the Create Filter button on the toolbar. Deleting a filter resets the display to its original setting. |
